MANIFESTO OF SLOWNESS /EN/ 2019

Fragile but functional collection of vessels built with coil sculpting technique. The ensemble embodies the idea of honoring slow living. Slowness is not laziness, tardiness or heaviness. It is not the opposite of freshness and speed. Slowness means honesty, care and calm. Let's not worship stereotypes. Just hang out and know why.  

All vessels are hand-built out of stoneware clay, covered by glazes designed especially for this collection, high fired at 1230°C. The small round black cup is created by an old ceramic Japanese technique raku (raku-yaki).
