MANIFESTO OF SLOWNESS

Fragile, but functional collection of vessels built with coil sculpting technique. The ansamble embodies an idea of honoring slow living. Slowness is not laziness, tardiness nor heaviness. It is not the opposite of freshness and speed. Slowness means honesty, care and calm.  It is a freedom and a never ending struggle for individuality. Let's not worship stereotypes and dogmas. Just hang out and know why. Create and forget that time flies by.

All vessels are hand built out of stoneware clay, covered by glazes designed specially for this collection, high fired at 1220°C. The small round black cup is created by an old ceramic Japanese technique raku (raku-yaki).
